we went to Fanling which is at the northern part of HK. we spent a morning in a farm, doing some farm works like removing weeds (with a sickle! for the first time in my life!), watching insects, little frogs and playing with cat. it was cloudy when we're working, and finally rained right after we've finished our work.

after enjoying a lovely lunch with some really fresh vegetables from the farm owners, we went to town centre and watched a movie at an old cinema. it was still raining after the movie. the name of the cinema can hardly be seen. in case somebody don't understand chinese, the 4 characters are 粉嶺戲院 (fun leng hay yuen, fanling cinema).

Mai Po Marshes, which is located at the northwestern corner of Hong Kong, have been known as a haven for migratory birds for decades. In 1995, 1,500 ha of wetlands around Mai Po and Inner Deep Bay were formally designated a Wetland of International Importance under the Ramsar Convention.
